Digital Doc 1600                                                Receiver

This blazed the way for the 2nd generation of cameras. Portables that could connect to wired multioperatory systems. These systems set a new standard for productivity enabling much easier use of the intra-oral camera, which was still relatively expensive. Average weight was 8lbs. Aurora by Digital Doc, is a palm sized, self-contained 10oz. camera. This camera broadcasts its image to the monitor/computer utilizing wireless technology. This device provides its own power via a rechargeable battery (up to 8 hours use per charge). Digital Doc's TrueSpectrum™, 100,000 hour enhanced LED Lighting delivers a picture clarity that affords you a new spectrum of razor sharp details.

How it works: The design of the Digital Doc 1600 camera lends itself well to computer based installations for two reasons. A) Because of the capture card in the PC, there is no need for built in memory, and B) Our custom-designed capture cable allows the user to capture images to the software from the hand piece button by sending a wireless radio frequency signal to a Video receiver. The capture signal is sent by means of the custom capture cable to the game port on the PC. While the camera is in use, a live video feed is sent to the image software, allowing for real-time diagnosis. To capture the image, simply press the hand piece button (located on the camera) and the software will store the desired image. Printing and or image manipulation is controlled via the Image Software.
Digital Doc 1650                                   Receiver

How it works: The Digital Doc 1650 camera sends a wireless radio frequency signal to a video receiver. The image and capture signal are then relayed to the Printer and Monitor via standard composite connections. A single or quad image can be captured on the screen with a press of the hand piece button. With a click of the SEND button located on the camera, the image is downloaded to the printer in approximately five seconds. Then, double click the same button to print the picture. In essence the camera is functioning both as the video source and a remote control for the printer. All from the palm of your hand.
